We offer a selection of home baked goodies in our deli cabinet and a full a la carte menu. While the menu varies from day to day and season to season, there will always be great choice, great imagination and great presentation, with dishes using fresh locally sourced ingredients.

Matched with fine, fresh coffee by Christchurch coffee roasters C4™ or a wide selection of great wines sourced from around New Zealand, the experience is one you are sure to long remember.

The best on the Peninsula! A creamy New England style chowder made with plump Marlborough green lipped mussels
Snapper in a Wrapper ~
Delicious North Island Snapper served in a tortilla wrap with salad greens, and our home made tartar sauce
Canterbury Lamb Shanks ~
Delicious, meaty, tender, falling off the bone! Is there anything better than lamb shank served over kumara mash!
Bacon Cheese Burger ~
Home-made beef patty stacked with all the trimmings and crispy fries. We've been told it's the best in New Zealand!
"Real" Goulash ~
Our Czech chef brings this Eastern European speciality to the Hilltop.Succulent beef chunks in a deliciously spicy sauce, served with traditional bread dumplings
Canterbury "Lamb Dip" Sandwich ~
an American icon which we have Kiwi-ised for the local farmers! A generous portion of oven roasted lamb served on a soft French baguette with tasty au jus for dipping and crispy fries.
The Daily Specials ~
Owners Martin and Laurie Sutton concoct magnificent dishes each weekend, using fresh local products such as venison, lamb, or salmon. Always different, but always delicious!
